The compressor went out after three years. Thankfully we have a 15 year old refrigerator in the garage thats never had a problem. LG is sending a company out to fix it but weve been without our LG for over a week now. Plus the freezer drawer is made cheaply and the plastic rail broke off. They sure dont make appliances like they used to. Our old fridge in the garage has been abused so badly hit by cars etc. and its still plugging away. Stop trying to make things fancy Just make them work

The refrigerator is very nice as far as the lay out goes and keeping things cold. It gets 3/4 stars as the ice maker produces ice that has a very strong odor which leaves a very nasty taste in your mouth. The inside of the refrigerator also has a very strong unpleasant smell. We are trying to get the smell to go away and have baking soda on a shelf in there. This is very undesirable and unacceptable for an appliance that you use each day.

We havent even had our refrigerator for 2 years and its broken. The compressor is shot which is a common problem with LG refrigerators. We havent had a refrigerator for 2 weeks. Its under warranty however the technicians are giving us a very hard time. I would not buy this fridge if I could go back in time.

Started out good. Failed in the end

Fridge was great at first until compressor went. Had to wait two weeks to get it fixes then less than 24 hrs later the control panel went. Let alone the fact it went down while we were on vacation and lost all of our food. 5 weeks with out a fridge is ridiculous. LG customer service could care less. Only had this fridge for 3 years. Ive never had issues with LG in the past but will definitely look else where going forward.

I have had this fridge since 2021 and has been great. Although the compressor went out a few months back. It was under warranty and got repaired within a few weeks.

DISGUSTED AND SHAMEFUL

We bought an LG PULL OUT FREEZER ON BOTTOM SINGLE DOOR REFRIGERATER and it was junk the minute is was brought into the house. We bought it from Electronics Express in Hermitage TN 37076. It came on but did not cool from the first time plugged in. Can you imagine the inconvenience of this. NO OTHER APPLIANCE could cause such a disruption. We were disgusted. Not to mention it was delivered on a Friday and we couldnt get anything done about it. On the following Tuesday an LG REPAIR MAN of all things came out and replaced EVERYTHING inside the refrigerator. He said not 1 drop of Freon had been put in that appliance when it left the factor. Not only will we NEVER go back to an Electronics Express but we will NEVER buy another appliance from LG. We have a BRAND NEW REBUILT REFRIGERATOR in our kitchen which took 5 days to even get that yet paid FULL PRICE. How absurd and what bad business

I bought this a few weeks ago and Im super happy with my purchase. I didnt want French Doors and didnt care about having water and ice in the door but I did want an ice maker. My new fridge has just what I wanted and something I didnt know I wanted a tiny shelf at the bottom of the door to hold all my little bottles of hot sauce

Better than we expected

We purchased our fridge a little over a month ago. There has been no issues. We are able to put more food in it than our old one. It is very quiet and we checked the temperature that we set it with and thermometer and it is perfect.

Very happy with performance of frig except the water line to the icemaker vibrates/rattles every time we turn on or off the kitchen faucet. Especially like the layout of the available space in the freezer and refrigerator areas.

Garbage product and customer service

Got rid of this refrigerator on this day didnt buy it. It was 2 years 1month old when the compressor failed and didnt have an extended warranty. I have contacted you people 3 separate times regarding this situation and this is your answer. Will never buy another LG product ever again. Your customer service sucks. Looking online regarding failed compressors you people are rated the worst.

Absolutely love this refrigerator. Its capacity is surprisingly larger than it seems and the design allows for convenient storage. The anti-smudge stainless steel is also a nice feature.

Have had a few issues recently and I have never had an issue with any other refrigerator ever Very disappointing. Even more disappointing is that I sent in information to get my money back in all the food I lost as compress went out and everything had to be thrown away.

The Quietest Ever

I purchased this particle refrigerator for three reasons. I wanted 1. a bottom freezer so that I could easy see and reach my food. 2. large enough vegetable bins to store my vegetables and lettuce in without being cramped. 3. But MOST importantly I wanted a quiet refrigerator because I have an open concept living dining room kitchen. The refrigerator is not only spacious and beautiful but almost totally SILENT Instead of a traditional motor it works by magnetic fields that operate a piston. The latest technology AND I find that any smudges on the stainless steel wipe off daily and dont leave streaks behind I LOVE MY LG refrigerator I highly recommend this product without reservations

It worked well for almostv3 years but the compressor broke and hadvto be replaced That cost us money to fix plus we lost some perishables because it took LG 5 days to get a repair person to our house.

Love this so much I bought two. A year before moving I bought this refrig. When I bought my new house I hated the refrig that came with the house. It was lovely to look at but was poor design and noisy as a model airplane. Within 5 months I bought another LG and have function good looks and quiet.

I have had my LG for about two years I am pleasantly happy to to say that I have no issues on any parts of the refrigerator It is spacious and accommodating to all sizes of foods and drinks. I love the fact that it is so quiet and looks so modern. I would have no problem with buying another LG product

I absolutely love love love my new refrigerator/freezer I wasnt ready to spend money on a new fridge but I had no choice when my old one died. Now Im so happy that it did. The shallow drawer in the bottom of the fridge is my favorite feature it holds all my cheeses lunchmeats and gives me so much more space on the shelves above.

Garbage Unit Buy a different brand.

I bought this a little over 2 years ago. Compressor went out in July under warranty due to the class action lawsuit ruling against LG and there compressors. Had it repaired and worked for a couple weeks. Was not cooling properly so repair tech came out again 8/16/23 and added refrigerant as he thought it was low. Next day it was operating even worse. Waited another week as the only LG repair tech comes to town once a week even though there are many repair shops in my town. He came 8/23/23 and talked to LG Tech Support and updated the software in the fridge and checked pressures. Said all was good and it should come down to temp. 8/24/23 temp is staying at 49 in the fridge. buyer beware LG is garbage. Never again.
