Our washer dryer gets a lot of use in our home. In average at least a few loads a day. It is quiet, efficient and durable. Highly recommend this brand. The steam feature is amazing and gets wrinkles out of clothes quickly. Especially helpful when you are in a rush or forget to empty from the dryer.

CAVEAT EMPTOR--LEMON WASHER!

I purchased this washing machine from a major appliance store six weeks ago. I had done my due diligence and chose this washer and dryer out of a myriad of available brands. After doing about 4 loads of washing in the first two weeks, I noticed the washer was dispensing soap sporadically. It was making some strange noises during various cycles, not described in the instructions; the door latch was loose and would not lock with every load. I reached out to major appliance company and they told me this machine is no longer under their purview, I would have to contact Electrolux, which I did. Electrolux sent a repair company. The tech ran a diagnostic test and said there is nothing wrong with the machine. The problem persisted and I went through the same route again. The tech then identified 6 different parts that now have to be replaced in this brand new machine!! The parts can take from 8-10 weeks or longer to arrive, if available, I was told by the repair company, almost an additional 3 months!! Subsequently, I have tried talking to Electrolux to replace this machine to no avail! I have tried talking to the customer service at the major appliance store to replace this machine to no avail. I have a brand new lemon of a washing machine which I am now stuck with!! I cannot believe neither company will agree to replace this machine given the warranty is one year and I have only had it for less than 2 months!! I do not want a refund. I just want a replacement.

This pair replace old 15 yr. Electrolux set that was dying. Didn't realize how the old set was so outdated. Heating element in dryer went out and mildew was becoming hard to remove from washer tub seal (even though I dried it after use). Still learning the new model's ropes and calculating drying times. A couple of things. Wish the washer tub had a light switch (older model did) and the end of cycle chimes are very soft.

In 2020, in the mist of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown our washer from another brand broke. It had lasted 15 years. We bought a replacement of what was available during scarcity of products, a washer from a different brand. That washer lasted four years, 2020-2024. This year we purchased an other washer from Electrolux and so far it™€™s working out great. Our clothes no longer smell like garbage after being washed like the last ™€œcovid-19™€ washer left our clothes smelling. Electrolux washer is easy to use, has a 15 minute quick wash setting and is very quiet. My only wish is that it last longer than four years and we will be an Electrolux customer for life.

Snagging and ruining clothing and linens

This washer is snagging and ruining our clothes, even on the delicate cycle. The vanes inside the drum have been replaced twice by service technicians and it hasn™€™t resolved the issue. This is a design flaw, in that the vanes on this machine have holes in them and are sucking in clothing on the spin cycle and ultimately damaging them to the point they are unwearable (see photos). Our 14 year old Electrolux washer had smooth vanes and never did this. It was a great machine and that™€™s why we chose to replace it with another Electrolux. I™€™m regretting that decision now and will not recommend Electrolux to friends and family. Buyer beware.

This is a great washing machine, we have no complaints so far. Nice and quiet and so many options. Can™€™t speak highly enough of the quality of this machine.We did have an issue with our delivery. At first, delivery was pushed off twice which, while annoying, we understood due to Tropical Storm Debby. The delivery guys were personable and polite. The issue began when we ran the first cycle. Once it hit the spin cycle, the machine started jumping around slamming the wall and the dryer. I lowered the speed and it did the same thing. I checked if it was level and it was. Had a technician come to check it out. Found out that when it was delivered and installed, the bolts were not removed to free the tubs. The technician said we were lucky it didn™€™t crack the tub and cause a water leak.So in short, we love the machine so far, but the delivery guys that were contracted needs to ensure these are removed in the future.

No easy access to drain filter/coin trap is a design failure, no matter how Electrolux spins it. comparable LG washers you open flap on front of washer, twist and pull out filter. 30 seconds. I love my new washer and hadn't set out to buy the Electrolux brand originally. But after shopping around the style, quality and reputation won me over!

Happy with my Electrolux purchase - the machine is fast and allows me to adjust the "options" (e.g. soil level, speed of spin) within the set cycles. I also like the design of the rubber gasket on the door as its designed to be more shallow than a previous machine meaning it accumulates less standing water and prevents odor buildup.

I had an older front load washer and dryer and they were terrible. I had to take the dryer apart to get all the lint that would get trapped inside the machine. I absolutely love the new washer. Does a very good job cleaning. Highly recommend.
