When renovating my kitchen, I put in an island and didn't want an overhead exhaust fan. This was highly recommended. Love the fact that it's retractable to keep little hands safe, washable filters and stainless steel to add that modern touch. The only thing I'm disappointed in its the noise factor. It's really loud on high and to carry on a conversation you have to speak really loud yourself.
