I purchased this item 15 months ago and it no longer works. Within 3 minutes of starting it, the dehumidifier begins icing up on the coils and no longer collects moisture.

I bough this product 3 years ago and it starts to decline after 1 and a half year. Now I can't set my machine above 65 degrees of humidity. The guy at the frigidaire service said to me this morning, put it in the garbage and buy a new one. Big response.

It's a great a set it and forget it unit. I put it in my basement, set the humidity where I want it and it turns on when it needs to, drains to my pump--even the filter is easy to clean.

Unit stopped working after about one year. Kept getting error code F0 which seems to be common according to the internet for this model.I contacted Frigidaire and they replaced "no charge" with a different unit and model. Hopefully this one will last longer.

Started to get the FO code on our dehumidifer Model FFAD3033R1A0. Checked on line and learnened to clean the filter and the sensor...still same code. I went on Frigidare's web site to learn more and decided to go to their chat. Turns out the chat was not working so I called the phone number and listened to the menu. Stayed on line for a loooonnnggg time only to hear a recording referring me to the chat line, which wasn't working! Ugghh!! Sent an e-mail to Frigidaire (not sure it was even good but would thing someone would forward it to the right party) no response yet. So many good reviews for them but it seems the FO code is something they don't want to bother with.

I bought this several months ago for a damp basement, & to reduce humidity in the photocopier/computer printer rooms, alternately. It is effective, & I put a drain hose into a bucket, so I don't have to remove the built in pail daily. The only unusual item is that on hot days, the exhaust from the fan is pretty warm, more than I would expect.

This is my second Figidaire dehumidifier. Although it has a smaller capacity, the controls are identical, and has a similarly excellent performance, albeit with lesser capacity. The cost is competitive. I can recomend it without reservation.

Bought this a little over a year ago to replace an older Frigidaire humidifier that also threw an F0 code. Well, so did this one. I have followed all instructions (power cord directly to an outlet, tried different outlets, cleaned the filter, have in a free area, and unplugged in low humidity seasons), but here we are again. I was very happy with the humidifier until it started failing again. I have followed the troubleshooting tips to no success.

Easy to use, purrs like a kitten, and brought our basement humidity Level in check immediately. i like the notification sound when the bucket fills, though you can also run a hose off of the unit for continuous running. I also like the filter cleaning notification.

Third season, F0 Code of Death. Filter is clean, voltage is nominal, temperature within recommended range. What other parameters under control of the user could be responsible? If none, then what design failure is throwing that code? One surmises that the "F" may indicate "Freon" and the "0" indicates absence of same, which would explain why no moisture is being produced. Extremely disappointed in this unit.

The FFAD033R1 we purchased a couple of years ago has stopped working sending the seemingly common "F0" fault code. I've checked the voltage and plugged it into multiple outlets only to get the same "F0" code. The filter is clean and the temperature is a typical 60-75 degree range for a northern basement. I would have expected to get more than a couple of years out of a Frigidaire/Electrolux product.

This dehumidifier has pulled so much water out of our basement that we were emptying every day. We've only had it 2 weeks but our basement smells better (less musty). A hose is easy to hook up for continuous drain and the wheels make it a breeze to move.

I bought this about a month ago and am very satisfied with the product. It does so well (basement is unfinished and normally very humid) that I will have to look into installing the direct drain line. Pouring the water out from the bin is awkward at first but I'm getting the hang of it. The filter is easy to clean as well. Definitely looking into buying another one for our living space.

This is literally the quietest dehumidifier I've ever owned. All you can hear is the fan running, the compressor is barely audible. It does a great job keeping the humidity level at 50% in our basement. Would not hesitate to buy it again!

Very quiet and easy to operate. Let it drain into the bucket the first couple days on continuous operation and was amazed with the amount of water. Now have it draining to floor drain with short garden hose and it is keeping the basement family room nice and dry with setting at 60.

It's great when, in the heat and humidity of summer, your 2-yr-old dehumidifier gives you an F0 error and won't work any more. It's even better when email support doesn't get back to you and says to try the phone or chat. And when you call, it says that you should send an email or chat and doesn't let you leave a message or talk to a person. And the chat feature doesn't work on the website.

Researched the heck out of these things and landed on this one from Frigidaire. VERY happy! Easy to operate and it is a real workhorse filling up almost everyday due to the heat and humidity we are experiencing. We had one from Sears prior to this that lasted 7 years with one minor repair so we are hopeful this one will last as well.

I bought this unit a month ago and everything seems great so far. I was extremely disappointed in my previous dehumidifier that died after about 18 months. So far this unit has performed better than my old unit did even at its peak. Time will tell but this seems like a good buy.

This dehumidifier gets the job done! My basement has never been drier. Having the option to have a hose hooked up and have it drain directly to a floor drain is great. We turn it on and it gets the job done. The only maintenance is cleaning out the filter every ~14 days, but there is an indicator light that makes this easy to remember. I am amazed just how much water this pulls out of the air.

I had a previous version of this item that lasted nearly 9 years. I have had this new model for just under 2 years and the continuous drain no longer works. I have replaced the hose, removed the bypass nozzle and cleaned it out, and have even tried to reach as far into the bypass tubing to clear any debris and still it just fills up the bucket instead of draining out the hose. Reading the warranty, in years 2 - 5 I would be responsible for most of the repair cost ... given the other reviews about this F0 failure in around the same time period, I'm not willing to invest any more in this product. Will try a GE unit and see if I have better luck.

Worked well until after only two summers of basement operation, then the unit went into terminal F0 fault mode. Followed the manual's instruction to unplug and re-plug power multiple times. Would run for a while then go into the same fault condition.

I bought the dehumidifier in July 2018 and unit shuts down after only a few minutes with error code FO. I have cleaned the filter and sensor with no luck. I researched the unit on line and many owners have experienced the same problem - appears to be a faulty sensor. I contacted Frigidaire a couple weeks ago and have not even received an acknowledgement

I bought this model after doing a lot of web research. I replaced a Soliere unit that finally quit. After setting this up in our basement, I found I was emptying the bucket frequently. I then connected a hose to the convenient hose bib. So far its doing a great job. I purchased an extended warranty as it appears that any and all manufacturers suffer the same issue with the coolant gas leaking out rendering it non-functional. For the money, this is the way to go.

50pt unit in the basement of a 2400sqft new construction home in use about 1month so far. Started with the bucket for a while before installing the drain line. No complaints with that, the bucket was easy to remove, install, carry and empty. The humidity readout/setpoint is off from other calibrated devices, so I question its accuracy. The unit does run frequently.

This works so well we have a large 1100 sq foot space w basement and loft area and it easily keeps the humidity at 45 or less. Only downside is that maybe we should have bought the 70 liter size because if it runs all day we do find ourselves emptying it twice daily. Its really easy to clean which is great and I love that its on wheels
