I purchased mine in June of 2018 and it died September 2020. For the 2.5 years it worked like a charm and the FO came on and based on what I read it died. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and the FO came back on. So Its another overrated product produced somewhere with built in obsolescence. I guess I should be thrilled that it lasted 3 summers..

I bought this last fall and it worked great for 3 months but then it gave me a FO error. I did not need it so I just stored it until this month September. I've tried resetting, checked the electrical wall sockets and cleaned filter. I even took the back off and cleaned the sensory as instructed on YouTube. I'm now trying to work through getting someone to response via email or phone but it's COVID time. It's a whole new animal for support.

Bought this dehumidifier to help lower the humidity in our 1900 sq. ft. home here in the South where outside humidity ranges from 85 to 100 percent during the Summer. Our central air system kept the indoor humidity around 55%. We run it on "medium" during the night and it lowers the humidity to around 45%. It is doing just the job I was hoping it would do. The fan is a little loud, but it serves as a great source of "white noise" during sleeping hours.

Unit is stylish, affordable, and it looks good in my guest bedroom! However, it™™s relatively loud and produces more heat than I expected. Hopefully as humidity levels drop, so will the warm air that it blows into this small room.

Works well. Quiet, small, gets the humidity down quick. The fan speed is adjustable if you need it even quieter. I wish the tank was a bit bigger, but that would make the United bigger and the tank harder to empty. Works so much better than my 30 year old model.

I first bought this dehumidifier a year ago and have already needed 2 replacements because the dehumidifier broke. The second replacement is now broken and I have tried repeatedly to contact customer service, but they have not responded to me. When I say it's broken, I mean I get an "FO" code and there is nothing I can do to get the unit to work. This is a worthless piece of junk and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

I let the dehumidifier run for a while, I can hear the Fan running, but it doesn't collect water.After 5 mins it stops with the F0 error code. I tried unplugging it and re-starting .. same experience. The filter is clean, the room temperature in the basement is within range. The humidity level indicator shows 70% humidity. Don't know how to fix this?

The dehumidifier has been in operation on the first floor of my house for about 3 weeks. At first I ran it continuously, as the user guide recommended, then set humidity level. Since it's so humid this summer, it still runs constantly when it's on, so I don't know how the humidity function performs. At any rate, the unit works fine, extracts moisture from the air; my rooms are much more comfortable. It turns off when the bucket is full. The bucket is fairly easy to remove and empty. Very satisfied.

Last year I noticed I had mildew in my basement. I had just moved to the east coast from southern CA and wasn't used to humidity. I bought this dehumidifier and I have to empty it at least once/day. It stopped the mildew problem. This year, we have had spells of high humidity and I decided to buy a second identical humidifier for upstairs. It so helps keep it comfortable that we haven't had to run the air conditioner hardly at all. I love our dehumidifers!

I bought this for my basement. I tested this on a humid day of 80 plus. It quickly brought it down to 50 percent within a few hours. The noise level is acceptable if you set this at a low setting. There isn't a need to use a high level since it takes time to remove the moisture the air. The water bucket is easy to take out to remove the water, and takes no time to be placed back.

This unit worked great for a year or so, and then I started seeing the F0 error code. I would clean the filter, unplug it, plug it back in, and it would work for a time. I kept it limping along for another year until that no longer worked. For the past 6 months, it reads F0 continuously and does not work at all. I wrote an email to service and hope to have a reasonable resolution to this.From what research I have been able to do, it appears that this is a known fault in the sealed system, which is under warranty for 5 years. I am hopeful that this is appropriately covered and resolved.

I first bought this model in the summer of 2017 and it worked great for my 400 sf garden level apartment. It had heavy use that summer, less intense in the shoulder season, and pretty minimal for the winter when the air got drier. By the end of the following summer, the fan setting options didn't work - you could change the button but it would blow at whatever speed it wanted, and sometimes would change at random. By the next spring it was giving an FO error that would require it to be unplugged to reset, at first just occasionally but then many times a day. It also started icing up in the back. So all total lasted less than 2 years, and half of that time it wasn't running at all. For the size, price, and availability, I ended up getting the same one again, but this time I purchased the extended warranty. Less than a year old and it is definitely getting louder, and sometimes starts to run again AFTER the bucket full signal goes off, only to beep again a few minutes later. Overall still works well enough, but I'm guessing there is a service call in my future.

Avid review reader, not an avid reviewer. However, I thought to offer caution to others considering this dehumidifier. After a year of working it got a failure code and turns off after a few moments. It will not turn on. Attempted to reach out for service/warranty information to no avail. There was no warranty and the service cost more than the unit itself. Very disappointed I™™ll have to find another one

We couldn't be happier. My wife and I are in our seventies and find the 30 pint size easy for us to handle. We have to remember to empty before going to bed at night because if the unit fills up in the middle of the night the alarm will wake us. Yes, we had that experience.

replaced another brand that only worked for a year; much better humidity control set at 45%, use a 1/2" I.D. plastic tube to drain continuously into a sump that was already connected to forced hot air furnace & air conditioner; when 50% indicated, return fan from high to low; after a rain storm return fan to high speed to bring down humidity from 70%.

I bought this little guy after discovering mold in my basement, which is about 555 sq. ft. It quickly brought the humidity level down, and consistently keeps it within the range I specify. It has also worked really hard during some basement flooring renovations where I power washed the entire basement floor. It's has performed better than I expected - within 36 hours the basement floor was completely dry, including some wood paneling that got wet. Impressive for such a little dehumidifier!

It™™s being used in a fairly large basement and is doing the job! It™™s quiet and easy to move around. The handle on the water container is very helpful as I empty it. It draws a lot of moisture and has made a big difference in humidity these rainy days.

Had this for about a month and it does the job... I keep in the house. We have an older house so we have some moisture issues in the back bedrooms. My family loves to hear the noise at night. It is a bit noisy but we like it. But the thing I don™™t like is when it is full, it beeps several times, loudly and then a bright light blinks. The doesn™™t go off until you dumb it and replace it. Other than that it has been nice. I bought based on past reviews so I hoping it holds up. It seems like a night unit.

I've been using this dehumidifier for about a month now and it makes a huge difference in the air in my home. The one thing I would do differently is buy a unit with a larger capacity - on our humid days it is full by the time I get home from work. I bought the 30 pint unit and I have it in a room that's about 700 square feet - I live in south Texas.

this 30 pint Frigidaire replaces a 70 pint off brand that was replaced under warranty the first time, then the second one quit working in less than a year. So far the 30 pint is doing as well as the 70 pint. Time will tell if it lasts, but happy so far.

We live in a small MIL apartment where humidity is really high. We used to have an even smaller dehumidifier to help but after using this one for a few weeks, we realize how bad of a job our previous one was doing. Does exactly what it says it's supposed to do!! I purchased a hose for the continuous draining, and I don't have to worry about emptying the bucket. Moisture is gone and pipes are all dried thanks to this dehumidifier. I set mine to 50% and it clicks on and off as needed. It's very quiet too! You'll love this product!
