I bought this product a year and a half ago. It developed a leak where the drainage hose connects to the back of the dehumidifier. After a 40 minute hold I was basically told I was out of luck. I won't be purchasing any other Frigidaire products in the future.

I over- bought in size because of the humidity in my apt. It has been a perfect choice. I have been sleeping better with less body aches and with the filet it decreases some dust. Also, less humidity means less bacteria in the air. VERY SATIFIED

This humidifier is awesome! Turn it on leave and come back with soo much water on the reservoir. That only means one thing...Its doing what a humidifier suppose to do...Great Awesome product! A must buy if you need a humidifier.

I have this like new dehumidifier that has worked well but now the compressor stopped working. Contacted customer service and after 45 minutes on hold was told there are no parts available for their dehumidifiers and no assistance in diagnosing problem. When I asked to talk to a manager, I was cut off.

I purchased this when we moved into a new townhouse. We stored many of our totes in the garage for the summer. This kept the humidity levels low enough to protect our heirlooms and other belongings until we could move them into the main part of the house. Now, it is back in our living space, keeping our basement level home office protected from extra humidity daily! I trust Frigidaire and this product has been an excellent and reliable workhorse for my family! I only wish I could clean out the water reservoir easier to keep it cleaner.

I bought this as a replacement to my failed Kenmore 70-pint dehumidifier, and this one pulls moisture out of my basement so much quicker, and is much quieter. I have it self-draining to a boiler drain pump that pumps it uphill to my sewer pipe, and I have it plugged into a separate humidity sensor-on/off outlet, so I have not really tested the automatic humidity-level operation of this dehumidifier on it's own merits. But I am impressed with it!

I replaced an older unit and can't believe how much quieter and more effective this new unit is. I should have bought this years ago. It removes a lot more moisture than my older unit that this unit replaced. It is also much quieter (no unit is silent that has a compressor and fan), and we are very pleased overall. Nice cabinet and easy to set the humidity level that you want to obtain. It also will display the actual humidity in the room. You can select high or low fan speed (we use low speed). Very satisfied.

OUR HOUSE WAS SO MUSTY SMELLING FROM ALL THE EXCESSIVE RAIN WE HAVE HAD ALONG WITH THE HIGH TEMPERATURES AND THE HEAT PUMP RUNNING CONSTANTLY TO RY AND COOL. I BOUGHT A BAROMETER AND WE WERE AT 81% HUMIDITY IN OUR HOME. IT HAS RAN CONSTANTLY AND CONTINUES TO DRAW MOISTURE OUT OF THE AIR. My basement is old and very damp. There are a couple of small leaks during heavy rains. This wonderful machine has dried it all up and with a recent tropical storm that hit the east coast I had a ton of moisture build up. It was all but gone by the next day. Very pleased. I purchased this unit at the end of last year. Just started using it a few weeks ago. It was easy to set up and the settings are simple to set. Summer months in Wisconsin are humid. My basement is very dry and comfortable. Great purchase. Recommend it.

I am using this to remove the excess humidity from the basement level of my house. I bypassed the bucket and have a hose connected so that it can drain into the sump pit that has a pump. Seems to be doing its job so far!

Bottom line - it does what they said it would and more. It keeps the humidity level right where we set it, even in the hottest/high humidity weather we™™ve been having. It has made a difference throughout the whole house by helping the central AC use less humid air to start with. Very pleased.

I™™ve had this dehumidifier In my basement for a few years. It runs almost constantly. Recently when it starts to turn on, it comes on and off for 1 second about 10-15 times before it finally starts. I tried calling a Frigidaire but the recording says they have no one to take the call.

the only thing missing is a little electronic song when it fills up, and if it has one, we have yet to hear it. Reading the manual is paramount to setting it up properly. I like the paucity of lights on the "dashboard." Maybe now I will remember to check the filter as its one of the few lights.

Bought this 3 weeks ago to replace another de-humidifier. It must lighter, the humidifier is really quick to suck the moisture out of the basement. The door can be a little clunky getting out but overall it's been really good and I recommend it.

This unit is keeping our basement at a steady 45% with ease! My basement has always been damp. In fact many years ago (25) we had a string of 10 days of warm humid weather with no sun and the humidity was so bad that water was dripping off of the washer & dryer! That's when we got our 1st Frigidaire Dehumidifier! That lasted us for 15years before we replaced it with another Frigidaire. Hopefully this unit will last as long as the others.

I bought this 3 years ago and 2 years ago it started leaking when it was just out of warranty. It leaks out of the bottom on the back side. I've cleaned it and still leaks. It's too expensive to buy one every three years when you only use it 4 months a year. Called customer service but they are too busy to take calls and hang up on you. NOT HAPPY!

I bought two Frigidaire dehumidifiers less than three years ago with ™5 year Warranty™. That™™s great but when they both stop with a FO code, so you clean and reset the filter, open the housing to vacuum and blow the coils. Then call customer service that tells you to report it on the website that tells you to call customer service, etc. I bought these two units to replace the faulty ones while I try to get through. I guess COVID19 shutdown the website AND Customer Service.

I always wanted a man cave but my basement always floods. After years of solving the flooding problems, I started sealing the basement walls and I needed to get the moisture out of the basement. The first 12 hours after purchasing my Frigidaire Dehumidifier I removed over two gallons of water. There were some mold spots and they were cleaned up. Within one week I noticed the air was better and the musty smell was gone. My basement is divided and I was so impressed with the Dehumidifier I bought another one and put that one in the other section of the basement. Once again the musty smell was going away. I had to attach a hose to the Dehumidifier because it was taking out so much moisture in the air, I was dumping the water container twice a day. Now that my walls are up in the first section of the basement, I noticed the Dehumidifier doesn't kick on so much. A couple of times I had to check it to see if it was still working! The other section of the basement I noticed the Dehumidifier is still running. Looks like I will have to seal those walls. I love the Dehumidifier and it does a great job!

I purchased this 50 pint dehumidifier a couple of months ago and I am so impressed how efficient it is. It is pulling out so much humidity in one of my bedrooms which I actually had mold in it. I think that with this running, I will no longer get mold in that room. I like the reminder to clean the filter. I also bought a 30 pint one for another bedroom, both from Lowes. Very happy with them.

I live in Florida and have a 121-square-foot outdoor shed. It would be impossible to store anything in the shed without controlling the humidity. I bought this Frigidaire dehumidifier in early March to replace a 12-year-old Whirlpool dehumidifier that was no longer keeping up. The Frigidaire works great, and the 50 pint capacity is fine. It is also quieter than the old one was. I have a hose that runs through the wall so that I never have to empty the reservoir. I'm quite satisfied with the Frigidaire so far.

Bought this unit as a replacement because I run them 27/4 to keep the moisture down in a damp area. They are set to constantly drain so they run until they die, usually five to seven years. The jury is still out on this one so I'll have to let you know. With that said the unit is doing an excellent job.
