I have had this for over a year. I put the controls on full time dehumidify for two days over Thank and then moved it back to 45% and the unit runs constantly. It use to shut off when it hit 45% humidity. I have a humidity reader and it gets as low as 35 and still runs.

My basement is really not damp, but due to having some things I don't want ruined, I do use a dehumidifier. This one seems to be working very well. I do wish the dial for humidity level was more user-friendly.

I've only had this for a month and it seems to be doing exactly what it needs to do. You can choose to empty the water bucket when its full, or buy a separate drain hose.

I have bought two of this model. One about 4 years ago for the 30 ft RV. (Hot humid area) I bought a second one August 2020 for the house. I know it is not large enough for 2500 sq ft house but I use it all over the house; moving it to a different room daily. We have a 5 ton heat pump also that helps a great deal. I really like it in the Laundry room. It draws almost a full tank of moisture per day in the most humid areas & when the weather is more humid. On low humidity days as little as a pint. I will be buying 2 more because they are work horses doing a very good job & because of the simple control knob. No touch pads to wear out or malfunction. ( I see no use for touch pads when knobs work & last longer.) They are rolled easily from room to room. I would buy a larger capacity but they do not come with the knob control. But 3 in house should do nicely for seasonal high humidity. I also have 2 of your Frigidaire 8,000 BTU AC with Heat window units that work perfect in a shop (30 x 12) & a small doggy room. They keep my rescue dogs cool in the summer & warm in the winter, I know they would be great in a house if needed too.

The unit works perfectly. I do wish it had a fan speed setting, instead of just either running or not running. Also, the humidity bar on the dial is a bit misleading. When you're turning the dial up, you're turning up the dryness not the humidity.

I bought this dehumidifier for my RV. I chose this one because it is very simple to operate and has manual controls. It works great to keep the humidity down in the RV when it is in storage in very humid Florida.

It was advertised as a basic dehumidifier and it is. On and Off, with an analog knob that increases and decreases humidity. Only problem is leakage of water from time-to-time.

The unit seems to work well, but I don't like the idea it stays on when it's not actively working. You have to physically turn it off to be off. That means it is using energy all the time unless it is shut off.

I didn't realize how much water we had floating around the house. This dehumidifier pulls out so much water from the air. I already had a humidity reader, but didn't realize the amount of water in the air from 40% to 60%. It makes a blowing noise that is bearable. We mainly run it at night and the noise serves as white noise. I would recommend this dehumidifier.

Purchased approx. 3 weeks ago. Live in North Carolina so the summers can be sultry sometimes. House is 90 years old and 1,000 sq. ft. It has a small cellar area which is dirt walls with a partial cement slab floor and then just crawl space (dirt) under most of the rest of the house. So you can imagine when it rains (and rains) you can feel the humidity. Just to confirm I bought this for the living space not the cellar. Was a bit skeptical if the 30-pint would do the job but all the descriptions I read said it would work for the size of the house. It does not disappoint. Used it for the first time last week. Humidity was almost 70%. (Evening) Put it in the center of the house and ran it on continuous setting. It does make some sounds but I can ignore them. It's not too loud, i.e. didn't have to turn up the TV. It took a few hours but dropped the humidity to 50% without a problem which was great. Filled the reservoir up about 50%. Moved it to the bedroom for a couple hours before going to bed. It filled the reservoir up almost the rest of the way. Emptied easily. Have used it a second time now with the same result. Am very happy with the purchase and performance.

I bought this for my small bedroom because the humidity can sometimes get as high as 80% in the summer (we™™re trying to figure out why). This knocks down the humidity quickly, but only on the highest setting. If you turn the knob even an inch to the left, the humidity shoots right back up. There is no desired humidity setting on the dial, so it™™s all trial and error, and after trialing it all, it™™s apparent that it™™s only truly useful on the highest, continuous setting. And it™™s very loud, but that™™s okay.

I live in a studio apartment. This dehumidifier is the perfect size. It's lighter than my old one and easy to use. The reservoir is also bigger than my old dehumidifier's, but still light enough to empty without worrying over spilling.My sole "if only" is that it would be even better if the dial listed relative humidity for easier selection. I haDC to play around in order to figure out where the 45% range is.

I run this in my basement, about 800 sg ft,,,does a very nice job. For the first 2 days I ran it flat out & I took took out 2 buckets a day. Now I run it at about 9 to 10 o'clock & it keeps things nice & dry. It is very easy to empty the bucket,,I like the handle. I do wish it was made in the USA and not China. A solid 4 star rating !!

Nice basic dehumidifier for a 600 SF basement. No digital readout showing ambient humidity vs target humidity, but I get good results by leaving the dial at 9 o'clock. Energy Star rating gets a $30 rebate in Massachusetts. (Would give five stars if it were made in USA instead of China.)

My wife and I bought this a month ago to have run in our basement, and can already tell a huge difference; less musty oder and more air freshness. The 30 pint unit, per the manufacturer specifications, covers up to 1500 sq. ft, which is plenty to handle our basement and upper floor, living area. We look forward to having this unit for years to come!

We have our Dehumidifier in our basement and even though it™™s been running a good bit it is still running like a champ. We have to keep emptying it at least two times a day. It has helped clean up the air in our basement and we like to spend more time in our basement now. I hope that this piece of equipment lasts for years.

I bought this about a month ago to reduce humidity in part of my cellar. I ran a hose to remove water without having to empty the collection container. I set the humidity level and haven't looked at the unit other than to ensure that it is working. It does! So, I plan to ignore this device other than to check the filter once a month. Set it and forget it...just what I was looking for!

This unit does a great job of dehumidifying without a lot of bells and whistles. I love that it doesn't have digital controls, and it is so easy to use. Just turn it on and let it dry the air! Basic, attractive, and does the job.

I got this as a replacement for another unit that went bad under warranty. The previus model worked very well when it was working. This unit has no "humidity sensor reading" so you have to guess what setting you are on. It runs almost non-stop and takes very little moisture out of the room. My first unit I would be emptying the bucket every few days. This new unit runs twice as much and I only empty the bucket about twice a month. Very disappointed. Will not purchase again.

We bought this a month ago, the difference in my basement was noticeable within 2 hours. I love this product and recommend to anyone. When the bucket is full it sllides out easily and pour into the slop sink and pop it back in and away we go.

I bought this product a month ago after finding mildew growing on clothes, bags, and even the dressers in our bedroom closet. I wish I'd bought it sooner! It's easy to use and removes SO much moisture. You can feel the difference in the air. After several days of constant running, now we just run it overnight every few nights to keep the mildew at bay.

Unit was delivered with a broken caster and also inoperable, sensor problem. March 24th returned paperwork to Electrolux for repair or replacement. As of today April14th, still no replacement from them. Yesterday I e-mailed them back to check on status and got a reply that IF all my paperwork was received I would get a replacement in 7-10 more days. Bought this unit, knowing how wet it would be in Ohio at this time of year. Now, I've had to go thru this wet season without a dehumidifier. Electrolux has had my paperwork since 3/24/20, I'll be lucky to get a replacement by 4/24.This is ludicrous. One can surely tell that the customer is not very appreciated by this conglomerate.

I've had this for about a month now. It works great. Living in the south humidity it a struggle. I place mine in our hallway and let it run. It runs almost all day. I was worried the size would be too small. So far it has never cut off because of being too full. It's about as loud as a fan on medium. I would buy it again.

I purchased this for an area of about 120 square feet and a volume of 960 cubic feet.This area was under my front porch and was converted into a storage area. It is doing a good job during the winter months,but I will have to see how it does in the summer months when the humidity rises Stay tuned.

Bought this dehumidifier for our condo in Florida and it works great for just what we needed! After running it steady for a day and getting the extra moisture out of the air, we only have to run it now after showering in the evening or cooking and making steam in the kitchen or if it™™s rainy or humid. It is the perfect size and the tank when full is the right size to empty and not too heavy.It is exactly what we was looking for and so far has been a great buy for the money!
