Falls Off (Right after the Return Window Closes) - Guessing Generics Are Better

We have the GCFI3060BF Frigidaire Induction Range. Needed side guards to help keep what we cook from going down between the cabinets. There are various generic options but I decided to go with the manufacturer's built and recommended option at 3-4x the cost. The adhesive just isn't strong enough. One has already fallen off. I'm as disappointed in these pieces as I am happy with the range. It's very difficult to perfectly line up the edges as you try and wedge it in with the counter less than a 1/4 inch away. And, of course it falls off not long after the one month return period. I wish more induction ranges somehow built a lip into the the side to help with this issue so there wasn't this extra step to begin with. They also don't fit together in a pleasing and secure way if you look closely where they come together. Expensive price for bad design and performance.
